PASIG CITY LAUNCHES MOBILE PALENGKE

THE Pasig City government initiates a “mobile palengke” on Tuesday to prevent flocking of residents to markets, Mayor Vico Sotto said.

He added that the schedule of the five mobile markets will be posted on Pasig PIO’s Facebook page later today.

Sotto said that they also distributed relief packs: “Parallel effort dito, namimigay na rin tayo ng food/grocery packs sa mga barangay.”

“Paalala muli kung gaano kalaki ang operations na ito – imposibleng maperpekto sa napaka iksing panahon. Aabot ng 7 araw bago maikutan ang lahat ng pinaka mahihirap na lugar sa Pasig,” he added. (Photos from Vico Sotto/Facebook)
