Luzon lockdown: Pinoys now required wearing face mask

FILIPINOS under Luzon lockdown are now required to wear face mask outside of their homes to control the spread of coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles said Thursday that all residents of Luzon should wear any facial protective gear to help curb the transmission of the deadly virus.

Nograles explained the public can wear face shields, washable or ear loop masks, handkerchief  or any protective gear against the virus or anything that will cover the nose and mouth of the individual.

The local government units are asked to make ordinances in support of the national government decrees and enforce penalties for violators if necessary.
